The cover of the latest issue of the Limbaugh Letter, radio host Rush
Limbaugh’s monthly magazine, features this illustration by
Christopher Hiers, which appears to be traced from this piece by Wayne
Reynolds, which was originally published in 2002 as part of the Dungeons
& Dragons 3rd Edition Monster Manual II.
Bleeding Cool reader Paul Segal informed Reynolds, who posted in
   reply:
Thanks for the link. That’s a bad copy of an illustration I was
never happy with in the first place. WotC’s legal team might be
   interested in this one though!

In Swipe File we present two or more images that resemble each other to
some degree. They may be homages, parodies, ironic appropriations,
coincidences or works of the lightbox. We trust you, the reader, to make
that judgment yourself? If you are unable to do so, please return your
eyes to their maker before any further damage is done. The Swipe File
doesn’t judge, it’s interested more in the process of
creation, how work influences other work, how new work comes from old,
and sometimes how the same ideas emerge simultaneously, as if their time
has just come. The Swipe File was named after the advertising industry
habit where writers and artist collect images and lines t hey
admire to inspire them in their work . It was swiped from the Comic
Journal who originally ran this column, as well as the now defunct Swipe
   Of The Week website.

It seems that Jackson, Warner Bros. and the full furry-feet team have

while they make up their mind which of them will be best. Both of the
possible options has been claimed in a few URL variants by Mark Monitor,

There’s probably a lot of interesting people using Facebook, but
none have posted as many updates to intrigue me as Peter Jackson. He was
a pioneer of video blogging movie productions too, and is continuing
that superbly with The Hobbit. Now all I want is somebody to get him

(That’s “Respectfully We Informed You Of This Event At
An Earlier Juncture”, obviously) Are the Uncanny X-Men team of

Many of ABC’s plans for Marvel TV series have fallen by the
wayside, and while Guillermo Del Toro and David Eick’s Hulk show
is still a contender for possible production, they’re topping up
the list of potentials with some new ideas. And one of these new ideas
is something I’ve seen Little Bleeders suggest here,…
