Anyone with half a brain? Let me see. "Half" means that one half thinks
that one way is the right way, and the other half thinks it is not the right
way? "Half" means that only one half thinks it is the right thing to do and
the other half thinks it is the wrong thing to do? So, which half is the
right half? Are you saying that those who think that there was a better way
than increasing the national debt to solve the problem is worng? What leads
   you to that conclusion?

Kind of misleading don't you think? "If" the economy is not growing, then
by definition income is not growing and if income is not growing, then taxes
   are not growing....

Can the government prevent someone from doing the wrong thing? If the
government knew how to stop people from doing the wrong thing, then we would
not have any passenger jets crash, we would have no one getting hooked on
drugs, we would not have a problem with illegal immigration, to name just a
   few examples, would we?

   > for
   > you?

It will work out just fine. All you are succeeding in doing by not drilling
now, is insuring that the oil companies make more money. We will drill for
that oil at some point. Either we drill now, or we drill later, is really
the only difference. But we will drill. The reason is simple, whether you
like it or not, we need oil and we will need oil for as far as the eye can
see. The price of oil is only going to get higher, it is not going to get
smaller. So, by not allowing the oil companeis to drill now, all you are
doing is helping the oil companies make more money, when they do drill.

Well, we have a President who is doing a lousy job now. So, whether someone
else like a Palin can do an even worst job, is really the question. Hard to
imagine someone more incompetent being the President than the one we have
   now.
