I don't know that most scientists work for the government, but most are
   funded by the government.

I always tell people that if you need proof God exists, you don't need
religion. You don't need a Bible. All you need is to watch a few of
those nature shows to understand the hundreds of miracles that go on
every day on this planet; the interaction of plants, insects and
animals. The concept that our energy source is from a star millions of
miles away. Food grows mysteriously out of the ground.

This is not to mention the provisions God gave us: trees to burn fires
and create shelters, minerals that provide us with fuel, animals that
can be consumed by humans, water to sustain life that magically falls
out of the sky. It's all much more than an accident.

On top of all that, books have been written with stories of people who
were clinically brain dead for periods of time, and once revived, able
to tell us of their experiences of the next world which yes, included
   God.

But with all this and more, some prefer to believe that there was a big
explosion; fish learned to walk and became apes; and apes eventually
became man. Which sounds more ridiculous?
