It's just too bad that the oil sands project uses       almost double the BTUs in energy through natural gas to produce a single BTU       equivalent of oil. And most of that oil is exported to the USA and China.              The first refinery built in North America in the last 20 years was up at Ft.       McMurray at the oil sands and the pipeline doesn't go east or south to the       USA, it goes to the port of Vancouver where tankers are filled and off to       Asia they go.                     But The Phantom doesn't know fuck all about Canada or how its a net exporter       of energy, while the USA relies on imports. Canada even supplied the       uranium for the Manhattan project.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
