XPost: talk.politics.crypto, alt.politics.howard-dean, alt.flame.rednecks       XPost: alt.bullshit       From: okamuraj005@hawaii.rr.com              What should this story tell us? That you cannot trust politicians to be       consistent? That you have to "force" them to be a little more consistent?              "Whining Old Irish Queer O'Donovan" wrote in message       news:Xns9EFEE85A9277Cchang@194.177.98.144...              When Will The Republican Congress Do The Right Thing And Earmark $billions       To Erect Gold Statues Of Bush On Every American Street Corner?              It should be remembered that conservatives expressed no interest or       concern whatsoever about spending, debt or deficits until Obama was       sworn in. Almost immediately following the swearing in, they were       wailing and gnashing their teeth, up to their butts in ashes and       sackcloth over all this spending and all these taxes that they hadn't       given a rat's ass about two months previously, because they apparently       had no memory of who was in charge when all that money had been spent.       Speaking of amnesia, the bailouts were the Bush administration's baby,       not Obama's, even though brain dead right wingers continue to blame       Obama's "socialism" for them with their usual disregard for the facts.       Also, dozens of government sponsored cash for trash programs for       incompetent bankers, TARP and another trillion in "off budget"       military costs that came back "on budget" almost immediately after       Obama was sworn in were also Bush's. Continuing Bush's monstrously       expensive Platinum Series Tax Cuts is another fiscal belly buster that       will be paid for out of Grandma's Social Security, if John Boehner and       that god awful Mitch McConnell have anything to say about it. So       there's about four trillion in "Obama's" spending that really wasn't       Obama's spending at all in the real, non Fox "news" world. Then you've       got your trillion dollar "prescription drug benefit" that benefits       only drug manufacturers, about another trillion when those Platinum       Series tax cuts go permanent and another trillion or so in defense       spending every year.              And the only way to pay for it all is to kill NPR, PBS and Planned       Parenthood. Let me know how that works out for you redistributionist,       johnny come lately deficit hawks.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
