   Old stupid and sick people like you don't deserve health insurance   
   because it's selfish collectivist assholes like you who drive up the   
   premiums for the rest of us.   Why should I pay extra because you're a   
   fat stupid old slob who refuses to take care of yourself?   You don't

   If old people like you can't afford a doctor, why don't you just die   
   and get out of the way?   
      
   You are missing the whole point.  We have a choice to make.   Do we want to   
   depend on someone else to take care of our needs, or would we prefer to take   
   care of our own needs?  One way you will have the best healthcare system in   
   the world, and the other way, you will not have the best healthcare system   
   in the world.  And NO, old and poor people will not necessarily die anymore   
   that they died when we did not have a third party payment system.  Before   
   the advent of the third party payment system, there were charitable   
   organizations who tried to fill that void.  Besides, when you depend on   
   someone else to pay for your needs or wants, you have also given them the   
   right not to pay, or decide when they will pay, or under what conditions to   
   pay.   There is no such thing as a free lunch....there will always be   
   winners and losers.....
