   You might need a date for this article since a 46 year old would not   
   have been working at a record store in 1971.   
      
   There are also rumors that Rush was fired from a top 40 dj job after   
   being busted for solicitation in a gay neighborhood in Pittsburgh. At   
   the time he was working under the name Jeff Christie. I don't know if   
   anyone ever produced police reports or evidence more solid than hearsay,   
   but it is a good story.   
      
   Other rumors that circulate are the ones about his time working in   
   California where he was a fixture at a few local gay clubs. These   
   stories are repeated by a few people who claim to know him from those   
   days or claim to have met him in gay bars.   
      
   Either he spent a lot of money covering up these stories or there are   
   groups of gay men out there trying their best to convince people that   
   Rush is one of theirs.   
      
   His most recent bust for having viagra in his bag after returning from a   
   Dominican Republic/Haiti vacation with 4 other fancy men could also   
   raise some eyebrows. The implication of this one is much worse than just   
   being gay.   
      
   He doesn't seem to know much about contraception or the female anatomy,   
   you'd think after 3 or 4 wives and no kids he would understand how   
   babies are made and prevented. How he managed to convince a million   
   idiots to regurgitate his opinions is far more baffling than his sexual   
   preference though.
