   Here in my commie, liberal "blue" state, I used to work for the   
   metropolitan county and would occasionally rise up from the basement to   
   use the county law library as a part of my job.  We didn't even _have_ IDs   
   in the 80s and nobody ever challenged me being there.  If I remember,   
   there was a supervised sign-in.
