   The Pharasees were condemned for asking for a sign because of their   
   TEACHING  (Matt 16:12). It had nothing to do with denying the   
   existence of God - they were staunch believers in God.   
      
   It beats me how christians can get away with twisting the text of   
   their scriptures to their own ends.  But who cares?
