   In the UK, if anyone knows of criminal activity but doesn't report it to the   
   authorities, they can be charged with being an 'accessory after the fact'.   
   Don't you have something similar in the US?  If you do, then it would appear   
   that Robert is a criminal for not reporting you to the police, wouldn't it?
