   Good point. According to my Java book, int maxes out at 2,147,483,647   
   long tops out at 2e63-1   
   and if I read this table right, double hits its ceiling at about 1.7e308   
   No, wait, reading further, I see it's actually 2e64.   
      
   Obviously best to switch to long now, instead of waiting until I get an   
   Exception and have to go back and change the int to a long. long it is.
