   *  What *violence* is used against the mother?   From what I read they're   
   under anesthesia at the time just as they would be for any surgery.  They   
   feel no pain.  There is no suffering.  When someone beats up a pregnant   
   women who wants her unborn baby, he doesn't usually give her anesthesia   
   first.... among other things.  If the child is wanted then it's murder.   
   It's the woman's choice since it's her body.
