   I've pretty much given up that thrill since Astroworld (now Six Flags   
   Astroworld) got rid of my favorite (Dexter Freebish's Electric Roller Ride,   
   when the park opened in '68) was removed by a park renovation a few years ago   
   -- and pulling a ligament or two in my shoulder riding the still-operating   
   Texas Cyclone a decade or so ago made the retirement all the easier.  ;-)
