   Cling to your illusions if it makes you feel better.  Certainly not all   
   (politicians) are bought and paid for, but do you honestly think the powers   
   that be would encourage folks like you and me to vote if voting had a   
   snowball's chance in hell of implementing meaningful change?   
      
   No, they're not all bought.  Just the ones that need to be.  Competition   
   helps keep the price down, doncha know?  Press the button and get your   
   cookie if you will, but I'm done with that horsepucky.  I'm ashamed I bought   
   the line for as many years as I did.  Otoh, some folks never get it at all.
