I've been a computer geek now since the       advent of Atari and the Commodore 64 and as for learning anything       professional based on a computer, I owe it all to the Mac. It's only       recently that I discovered how close-minded and arrogant Windows users can       be. There's a guy where I work who swears by Windows and has nothing but       praise, but then you tell him about the security holes in Windows and       exactly WHAT THE PROBLEMS ARE with Windows, it's almost as if he should just       stick his fingers over his ears and start yelling "LA LA LA LA LA" He       doesn't want to hear the problems. As for Mac, the Mac has had the right       idea all along - ease of use, graphical interface and everything just runs       the way you want it to run. I think Linux gets a good share of beating from       the Windows Zealots as well, but we'll only see where Linux stands in the       next few years. Offering a free OS gives them an edge as well.              D.C.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
