   Why bother?

   (1) "Single-button-mice-are-less-confusing-to-neophytes" is Apple
company policy and the OS is designed NOT to require a two button mouse.

   (2) There are plenty of third-party sources for two, four, and even
8-button mice, as well as scroll wheels. Let them cater to those Mac
users who wish to run with multi-buttoned mice.

Like that track ball was soooooo expensive. It must've broke you and
sent you to the poorhouse. The two-button mice that most PCs ship with
cost the computer companies about fifty-nine cents each and look and
feel like it too. Apple gives you a well-made optical mouse that will
probably last the lifetime of the computer. You want more buttons? Be
Apple's guest and buy one with more buttons. Heck, they even sell them
   at the Apple stores.

Then GO BUY IT. Why is this such a difficult concept?

You notice that OWC sells other things than just processor upgrades.
They sell wireless, memory, etc. While memory can be looked upon as an
upgrade, I don't really consider it one because it's done by most people
because when you buy most Macs you HAVE to buy more memory if you want
run anything other than just the OS.

You complain that Apple offers only a single-button mouse when you
should be complaining that Apple is so niggardly with their supplied
memory, that they first thing that most people do, before even leaving
the store where they bought their machines, is to buy more memory. And
memory is more expensive than mice. That's what OWC sell the most of-
   memory.
