   Are you saying this about Windows users, or Mac users? :) Because when you   
   buy a part for a Mac that says it works with a Mac, 99+% of the time, it   
   "just works" right out of the box.  My (limited) experience on the Windows   
   side puts that number much lower, even for hardware that says it works with   
   WinXX, outside of idiot-proof components like keyboards and mice.
