   I would argue against this. I think that these events are the result of   
   folks not trying to make a choice- in other works, these are people   
   /allowing/ corporate marketing to choose for them in order to avoid the   
   trouble of deciding for themselves.   
   Same for people who let their friends chose their platform for them.   
      
   I would argue that many who choose the mac- with out much consideration,   
   are doing the same thing: they are buying the cool looking box.   
   The next group would be those chose the Mac because someone that they   
   respect is using a Mac.   
   Lastly, would be those that chose the Mac because it had a capability   
   not present in other platforms.   
      
   It follows that the vast majority have the computers that they have,   
   because they did not _want_ to choose, but rather went down the easiest   
   path.
