STOP WASTING YOUR MONEY.              Hahahahahhahah              Why are you here? I am goofing off with a new application I just       grabbed and had not really been into newsgroups for years...       Apparently the moron crowd (that means you) keeps the signal to noise       ratio so low that is makes a slashdot forum look like group of       thoughtful level-headed individuals.              Thanks for the amusement, it's been a good laugh coming back to the NGs       now. Perhaps though, you should run along and actually attempt to       educate yourself about some things before you make yourself look more       ignorant that you already do...              Hell, for the sake of perversity, I'll even give you a few leads on       what you should look into...              What is Hypertransport and why is it cool?       What is a cross-bar architecture and why is it a a very good thing in a       multi-processor machine?       Why are some tasks are slower on a Xeon with Hyperthreading/SMT turned       on?       What is posix and what are the benefits and disadvantages to compliance?       What are shared libraries and what the pros and cons in bundling them       into applications instead of keeping a shared copy in a default place.       What are the strengths and weaknesses of development with GCC vs using       Intel's compiler or IBM's new compiler.              one more for the road...              What are some of the varying strengths and weaknesses of machines made       by IBM (not the toy ones, the nice ones), Dell (the cheaper ones, not       their attempt a mid-range), Apple (the limited selection that they       carry), HP/Compaq (the big ones), and Sun (both small and big)...              Note: when I refer to IBM and not critiquing the toy ones, I was       referring to the cheap ones that contain Intel chips. The nice ones I       was referring to would be the ones that do not contain Intel or AMD       chips.              Good luck.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
