   Most Mac haters have never used or have very limited use of a Macintosh.   
      
   Mac isnt incompatable with most of the world, I accept Windblows files all   
   the time, no trouble, I send files to a windows based TSHIRT shop and no   
   problems....   
      
      
   Microsoft employs about 500-800 macintosh faithfull employee's in there   
   Macintosh Business Unit with over 160 macs located on site, as well two of   
   the top Execs that work for Microsoft use Mac's only. All of the   
   documentation books, graphics for packaging was done on Macs.   
      
   Mac is used in 90% of the 3d motion picture companies PIXAR is one of them   
      
   Photoshop, Illustrator, Pagemaker, and most of the design giants were MAC   
   first.   
      
   Microsoft WORD and EXcel were made for MAC before they were made for   
   windows in 1985 ....   
      
   most of Windows is a CHEAP copy of the mac, just it works on the Mac   
   better. You have have just as much mainline software for the Mac as you do   
   the PC ....   
      
   All ADOBE products, Macromedia, Microsoft office, (the email program is 100   
   times better) Corel Draw, are readly available on the Mac. with more and   
   more companies releasing their software for Macintosh.   
      
   most graphic designers, print shops, media companies, anything to do with   
   printed material most of them use MACINTOSH -   
      
   I am a graphic designer that used to use a PC for many years, after seeing   
   the BSOD(blue screen of death) over million times I SWITCHED to Macintosh.   
   After using a Pc since 1986 since the DOS days.... and I found that the MAC   
   was far better at doing most of the stuff I allready did, matter of fact   
   the G4 400 here outperforms the 1 Ghz Windows machine I have across the   
   room.   
      
   one more thing that is soooo much better, My mac runs days and days and   
   days without a restart, without loosing memory.... I can run Photoshop,   
   corel, illustrator, indesign at the same time and not notice one bit of   
   performance loss,  with the PC, If I did that id give it 3 hours before it   
   crash and then BSOD. or just freeze up.....   
      
   as soon as we can we are replacing all the machines here with Macs   
      
      
   you cant compare windows machines that were made to Game, and play with.   
   with machines that were made to work, design, you can,   
      
   Macintosh made the GUI with a mouse in 1984- it wasnt until 1989-90 that   
   windows came out with blahhhh windows 3, and at that it was just a mear   
   overlay on DOS... Macs always been the OS, thats why its stable, and now   
   its based on Unix... a OS that use to running a full year without restarts
