   Latin uses word ANIMOS.

It seams suffix "-logy" came into English exactly from Latin,
in other languages use suffixes as "-logia" "-logiya".

O.K. The word "a psychology" has Greek origin,
and it distributed over the world as word with Greek origin.

Greeks traditionally lived on the South of Europe and some islands.
Which is far from Middle East.
