   I understand that while the UK has an oppressive "free" national health   
   care system, it also allows its more important wealthier citizens the   
   right to pay private practitioners for treatment outside the government   
   system.  I assume that like in the USA a disproportionate number of black   
   people are poor (and consider all the African refugees in Britain), so   
   they naturally would receive psychiatric "treatment" through the NHS.  Do   
   the statistics above break down black/white diagnoses in both public and   
   private hospitals?  Are wealthier black Britons more likely to be   
   diagnosed as mentally ill by private psychiatrists?
