   It's much worse in Norway.   
      
   When you import vit. C in a bubble envelope, it gets confiscated and instead   
   you receive a letter from the border police, informing you that you are   
   guilty of a crime that carries a prison sentence of 3 months.   
      
   I went to Oslo's most knowledgeable healthfood store owner and she said she   
   was "not alloed to sell any substance, be it vitamin or mineral, in any   
   amount that has any demonstrable pharmacological effect" (effectively   
   banning her from selling ANY vitamins, minerals or trace elements).   
      
   When I asked her who on Earth pushed that law through parliament, she said:   
   "Codex Alimentarius".   
   I did not understand what she meant and she said: "A lobby groups of people   
   on the board of pharmaceutical companies" but no I do understand the details   
   :(   
      
   The same law they tried to rush through the EU but massive protest put it on   
   ice for a while.
