   The following profane profundity was uttered by Valerie in

   If members of any other medical specialty made their diagnoses and wrote   
   their prescriptions on the basis of a verbal interview alone, they would be   
   spending much more time in malpractice court than practicing medicine. Yet   
   psychiatrists constantly do just that. And the entire psychiatric interview   
   consists of a totally subjective interpretation of a 'patient's' answers to   
   a set of really stupid questions.   
      
   This whole 'chemcial imbalance' tripe is just another way of a shrink   
   saying 'I disapprove of your behavior or way of perceiving the world and   
   need a convenient 'medical' pretext to shut you up.'
