       No, Goo doesn't attempt things like that. I have a list   
   of 19 similar examples of his failures, and it continues   
   to grow.

       You don't think it will stop because your instinct tells   
   you that it was aware that it could smell, and that it   
   continues trying to smell because it is anticipating smelling   
   again. But you are not aware enough to understand *why*   
   you think it's not going to stop...you are incapable of   
   understanding such details even about your own "thought"   
   processes Goober, much less those of animals that you   
   know nothing at all about. Your "instinct" tells you the   
   animal will continue trying to smell again, but you don't   
   have enough awareness to understand why...you are   
   a shallow surface thinker at best Goo...often being   
   terrified even of the surface.
