|    ED CONRAD to All    |
|    Dear John    |

From: intrepid517@gmail.com              This letter was sent to the Smithsonian Institution today       (Certified Mail):       <       < =================       <       Wayne Clough       Secretary       Smithsonian Institution       1000 Jefferson Drive SW       Washington, DC 20004              Dear Mr. Clough:              I hereby invoke The Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) that gives       me the right to access information from an agency of the federal       government -- in this case, the Smithsonian Institution.              I demand that I be given any and all paperwork in which my name       -- Ed Conrad -- is mentioned. This should obviously include not       only ALL letters and correspondence but other material as well,       including inter-office memos, telephone messages and even       scratch-pad notes.              Naturally, you are also obligated to place in my hands any and       all audio or visual material in the Institution's possession       in which my name is mentioned (or appears in writing on an       accompanying information contents tab).              I kindly can advise you that the vast majority of the material       you are required to furnish to me -- without undue delay --       undoubtedly can be found within the files of material compiled       by Raymond T. Rye II, long-time museum specialist in your       Department of Paleobiology.              Other places to look include files in your anthropology,       archaeology, paleontology and geology departments, as well       as material that may well have been filed by your predecessor       Lawrence M. Small; Margaret C. Hird, special assistant to       the Secretary; T. Dale Stewart and others.              I figure one month is ample time to fulfill my FOIA request       and I trust there will be no hanky-panky at your end because,       as I'm sure you're aware, the Smithsonian is in deep enough       trouble already the way it has reacted to honest science       with pseudoscience (deceit, deception, collusion and conspiracy).              Sincerely yours,              _______________________              Ed Conrad                     cc: Sen.
