   That's pretty classic. The attentional deficit in ADD is more about   
   attention regulation, rather than not having any. Over absorption points to   
   a problem with prioritization of stimuli in much the same way as   
   distraction, it's a not uncommon characteristic of people with ADD, and   
   things that offer massive amounts of sensory stimuli and/or novelty are   
   very likely to evoke this behaviour.
