      POTTSVILLE, Pa.(Rueters)

   they have been able to put   
   Ed Conrad back together again.   
      Surgeons here were able   
   to gather all the bits and   
   pieces of the controversial   
   scientist and put him back   
   into one piece.   
      As every schoolboy knows,   
   Ed was blown up in a freak   
   accident outside his home in   
   Mahanoy City Monday morning.   
      He had gotten into his car   
   and simply turned the key when   
   there was a terrific explosion   
   and his body headed in quite   
   a few different directions.   
      Although indeed it smelled   
   like murder -- a car bombing   
   -- police now say it actually   
   was nothing more than a freak   
   accident.   
      Apparently, the gasoline in   
   Ed's 1989 Ford contained too   
   much ethanol, causing a chemical   
   imbalance.   
       Key suspects in a possible   
   homicide have now been vindicated   
   and have returned to their jobs   
   conning folks about the reality   
   of the Darwinian Theory of Man's   
   Evolution.   
       Ed, however, has said many   
   times that they are nothing more   
   than bullshit artists and has   
   backed it up with petrified   
   bones, teeth and even soft organs   
    -- HUMAN, no less -- that he has   
   been finding for decades between   
   anthracite veins.
