|    VICE: Columbian Devil's Breath    |

From: Paul.Duggan@jcu.edu.au              A friend was saying they were really getting into watch VICE documentaries and       told me about this one about a really scary drug called "Devil's Breath" which       criminal gangs would put a drop of in a tourist's drink, blow it in their face       or stab with a        coated pin. This put them in a trance (but they look aware) and then they are       told to empty their bank account and other things...              I tried watching it, but the gonzo style and interviews with random strangers       (not to mention the "I didn't believe it when I was given the story, but once       I talked to people...") just yelled beat-up.              I didn't get far through it before giving up, so I don't know if they have any       real information. However, I was googling it while watching and discovered       that the powerful drug in question I'd taken as a sea-sick medication. I       don't recall falling into        a trance. (But I guess I wouldn't.)              Anyone bother to watch the whole things and does it stay as dodgy as I       thought? Or has anyone seen any other VICE documentaries? Are they all this       bad or was that just a bad example?              ===       = DUG.       ===              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
