Australian biosecurity is really tight; good thing IMO.              It might be getting looser. There was a time when your car was searched       (for fruit) when you crossed the state border from NSW into Victoria.       Now you hardly notice the state border as you zoom through on the 110       km/h freeway.              I once got caught out in a silly way. I was crossing the border at about       lunchtime, so I stopped and bought sandwiches at a shop about half a       mile before the border. (We used miles back then.) The border guards       wanted to confiscate my lunch, but then they allowed me to pull over at       the side of the road and eat the sandwiches.              --       Peter Moylan http://www.pmoylan.org       Newcastle, NSW, Australia              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
