   Yes, it is a really old thread but some of the urban legends that we   
   chased were long in the tooth, too, so why not?   
      
   As noted in the thread "pet eats owner" was a not-uncommon tale and the   
   "probably eaten by rats" element meets that "horror or warning"   
   requirement, that's why it came up.   
      
   I couldn't find the news article either, but I did find her name on a   
   forensic dentist's CV. She was victim number 245 on his list of IDs   
   established.
