The statistics say they are. My own experiences with friends who have
divorced say they are. The only case I know of where the husband claimed
he was "screwed" in custody, alimony, and division of property was one
where he was a complete asshole and tried to hide his assets and his
idea of a "fair" division was that he got all the money and the property
and she got nothing but the kids. the judge did not take kindly to the
revelation that he had accounts he'd not revealed to the court and, I
suspect some of the final ruling was punitive.

Many men do not *want* custody, which skews results if you simply look
at "number of men who get custody." Yes, it is true that women get
custody of children more often, so you have to look at the cases where
custody is contested by both parents.
