I grew up hearing that story from my mom who was a Hollywood fanatic.  She   
   said it as a historical story how racism was back in those days. Also that   
   abortions were not legal so there was no way for Dinah Shote to hide the   
   evidence of an affair or a    
   possible black child. It was not said to implicate immortality or slut shaming   
   Ms Shore. My culture supports women.  I have no idea if it was true lol
