   I think you need a new scale! I wonder what is the accuracy of the thing   
   or its reproducibilty? You can check the last by weighing yourself   
   several times in succession and you might be surprised how much   
   variation there can be. With electric scales, it can depend on how much   
   time there is between weighings. If you can find it, the scale   
   instruction book might have some advice.   
      
   Even if you don't get up at all after going to sleep, you will have   
   exhaled water and CO2 and simply must be lighter on getting up, how much   
   I don't know.
