There "were" in the       past a number of cultures where this was the case, but not nowadays.       Nowadays, even in third world countries, medical opinion is relied to       determine good health, not fatness. As for childbearing, normal sized       healthy women are more likely to fare better as mothers than fat and       invariably unhealthy women. Fat has got nothing going for it, it is       unattractive and unhealthy.
