   Denver Child Measles Case   
      
   A Denver infant has contracted measles after a recent trip to an area of   
   Chihuahua, Mexico, where there is an ongoing measles outbreak. This is   
   the second confirmed measles case in Colorado in 2025, following a case   
   in Pueblo involving an unvaccinated adult who also traveled to Mexico.   
      
   Key Details:   
   Patient: An unvaccinated infant under one year old, too young to have   
   received the MMR vaccine.   
   Travel: The infant traveled with family to an area of Chihuahua, Mexico,   
   where a measles outbreak is currently occurring.   
   Exposure: People who visited the Denver Health Emergency Department on   
   Sunday, April 6, between 10:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. may have been exposed   
   to measles.
