   That sounds very reasonable to me. I vaguely recall that the late   
   Senator Ted Kennedy held a similar view and argued that instead of   
   spending lots of money trying to find a cure for cancer, it would make   
   more sense to ban known carcinogens, mutagens and neurotoxins instead.
