   It is indeed integral, which is why the wing nuts are so desperate to   
   connect the complex indus culture to the vedic age.   
      
   It is part of the 6000 year old "golden age" myth.   
      
   However there is no evidence, none at all, to tie vedic age to indus   
   culture beyond wishful thinking.   
      
   Thus the desperation to make indus script, if it indeed is one, some form   
   of written sanscript.   
      
   The first evidence of vedic nomatic cattle herding culture is a time after   
   the indus culture had come and gone. So the "golden age" tie must remain a   
   myth.
