   Why not, when the vedic nomads came into s. asia they encountered people   
   already there.  By their time the indus cultures hand come and gone.   
      
   However the native s. asian populations and small settlements remaned.   
      
   This does not help the wing nuts desperate to find some vedic nomad   
   connection to indus cultures.
