"              When posted gtwice before it was pointed out these dates refer to low level       cultures not the complex cultures of the indus.              All complex cultures were preceeded by less complex ones.              The indus and egypt examples in their complex stages were at about the same       time.              That of Mesopotamia in its complex stage preceeded the indus and egypt some       2 k years. The less complex levels were some 2 k years before then in       Mesopotamia.              Many core items for the indus came from Mesopotamia, including metal       working and grains among others.              Hint for the self glory wing nuts, s. asia was not the center or origin of       human cultures and history.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
