   The posted article is 2 decades old, an eternity in the   
   fast moving study of genetics.  That long ago there was still some room to   
   know the exact genetic connections of populations of the globe.   
      
   The genetics of native americans have been extensivvly studied as to   
   origins and relationship to asia.  Equally the language history of native   
   american languages have been studied.   
      
   There is absolutely no genetic connection to s. asia, none at all.    TGhis   
   clear and abundant   connection to n.e. asia as would be expected.   
      
   Equally so with the history of the languages.   
      
   The entire claim of some "golden age" of old when any s. asian culture   
   explored and settleled the new world etc. is pure fairy tale.
