   If'n you didn't know, 'Lincoln on the verge!' was a thing people used to say   
   to their   
   trusted Republican acquaintance who had a vein bulging in their forehead --   
   including,   
   it must be said, in the era of *Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown*. A   
   tasteful form of "bipartisanism" among the people; however, in my personal   
   opinion,   
   there are actually few of those in "professional" politics.
