   This is about how country houses, which England is famous for, can stay   
   heated by solar in a green retro modern way using tech from the period.   
      
   Basically tracking mirrors to shine sun on the building walls and   
   windows.  However the interesting part is that the control would be   
   clockwork, and the heavy movement by weights or such. No reliance on   
   electricity at all. To avoid a solar furnace effect and wouldn't want   
   more than about 4 flat mirrors shining on the same spot.   
      
   Manual alignment should be easy, where there is a challenge is a self   
   aligning arrangement with bi-metal or similar.
