   What do you have against cats? I've got a couple on the payroll. After the   
   hay field was mowed a couple of weeks ago I wasn't overrun by mice looking   
   for a new home and the cats looked happy.   
      
   Now if I could only get them to do something about the magpies. I've seen   
   them sit there and watch the magpies eat their kibble. Pretty birds, but   
   songbirds they ain't and they get up early in the morning.   
      
   I didn't have to go to a shelter. Around here put out a can of Friskies   
   and you've got a cat.
