   Roofmaxx says iiuc that it comes with a 5-year guarantee, but at the   
   same time  they say you can't wait until the roof already shows damage   
   to apply the product. Since you don't know when it will show damage, you   
   have to use the product in advance, maybe 5, 10, 15 years in advance. So   
   if you're doing this 5 years or more before it would show damage, OF   
   COURSE it won't show any damage during the warranty period.  So in that   
   case it's a meaningless warranty and calling it a warranty strikes me as   
   chicanery, enough to make me not trust them.   
      
   If OTOH, you wait until damage is showing (or almost until  then?) when   
   damage shows up, will they not say you're not covered by the warranty   
   because you waited too long?   (They use both word, guarantee and   
   warranty on their home page, https://roofmaxx.com/
