   It's still a death sentence for songbirds.   
      
   If it were legal to kill cats that wander into our yard, my husband   
   would be all over that. As it is, he traps them, urinates on them,   
   and lets them go. None of them look like ferals; too plump and   
   clean. I hope their owners are thrilled by the smell when the   
   cat shows up at the door.
