That means       future taxpayers who use it will pay for some of it rather than current       taxpayers paying the whole bill but getting little use before they       become former taxpayers.              However that requires sane consideration of realistic future income to       be reasonably sure 0future the debt could be paid. With Reagan the       Republicans went insane and made up wild predictions of future tax       collections.              Trickle down is bullshit that rich will invest enough to create ever       more prosperous businesses. The problem is for now the economy is driven       by consumption with excessive production. Getting more money to poor and       middle class will increase consumption and improve the economy. The       whoring of Democrats and Republicans to the rich does the opposite.              >> >But he at least was not where we are today.       > I'm going to stash that link. It's fascinating to see GHW Bush       > supporting public education of DACAs and shocking, to see Reagan       > recommend open borders.              We educate DACA and other children knowing they will grow up, start       paying taxes, and pay for the next generation of children.              It is only a problem because Republicans unleashed bigotry as a campaign       device. Seeing what Democrats faced after Truman desegregated the Army       should have taught them not to juggle grenades. But winning races was       more important.              When I was young California was a swing state and bigotry against       Mexicans and chicanos was de rigeur.              Then Republicans used bigotry in campaigns in state appealing to the       terror of white replacement. That backfired in state.              --       Siri Seal of Disavowal #000-001. Disavowed.
