   I've never seen an ER that wasn't attached to a hospital.   
      
   Google tells me there are a couple freestanding ERs about 20 miles   
   away from my house.  There are two hospitals much closer; the   
   one I prefer is 5 miles from my house.  The Urgent Care is about   
   7 miles away.
