   It's already been stated that Bush got into the Guard whereas uncountable   
   numbers of men were on waiting lists to do the same. (Getting into the   
   Guard was a 99% guarantee that you would not go to Vietnam.) You thus   
   have to explain why Bush could possibly have been given this preference.   
      
   Then you need go no further than to know that Bush was the son of a   
   Congressman and grandson of a Senator.   
      
   To insist petulantly that this is not evidence is to make plain one's
