   Actually, no he wasn't.  That happened in 1981 when the routers were   
   transitioned to the TCP/IP protocol so that ANYONE with an IP address   
   could gateway into the network.  There's little doubt that the   
   Internet would have evolved into pretty much its current form and   
   functionality even if Gore had slashed his ankle while "hoeing,   
   chopping, and harvesting tobacco" as a young boy and died of tetanus   
   long before he ran for political office.  If it hadn't been him in   
   Congress it would have been someone else.

   After Kerry returned from Vietnam he became an antiwar   
   activist.  But was he really?  In 1972 he threw his   
   medals away to protest the war.  Years later it turned   
   out that he had thrown someone ELSE'S medals away and   
   kept his.   
      
   Ask yourself this:  Would Patricia Ireland burn someone   
   else's bra?  Then doesn't this make Kerry a fraud?
